Coolest Selection proudly presents two remarkable vehicles from the collection of Miguel Prieto, an iconic rally raid driver and veteran of the Dakar Rally. Prieto’s storied career includes his celebrated 2nd place overall in the 1999 Dakar Rally, marking the highest finish for a Spanish driver at the time. Throughout his career, Prieto was closely connected to Mitsubishi’s official team, driving their rugged Pajero/Montero models and contributing to the brand’s legendary Dakar legacy.

Prieto’s commitment to rallying excellence led him to establish his own racing team, competing in some of the most grueling stages of the Dakar. His vehicles—meticulously maintained and rally-proven—were integral to his team’s success, supporting their efforts until the 2008 Lisbon-Dakar Rally, which was canceled for security reasons.
